I am using a hosting service for this site called DreamHost since I don’t yet have the time or money to host it myself. I found a great promo code that gave me a big discount so I only had to pay about $20 for the entire year. I used to use BlueHost, but I wasn’t too impressed with their quality of service for the two years that I used them.
As far as my blogging software, I’m using Wordpress because it’s free and it’s so easy to use and I don’t have to use any expensive or complicated software to maintain my site. I love it! I’m still fairly new to blogging, so this makes everything easier for me to handle.
I’m really interested in creating my own server to host this website on so I can learn more about how it works. When the time comes for that, I’ll definitely be posting about it.
